The Common Calendar is the Calendar in use throughout Romera, Alkera, and Kwera. It was initially adopted during the First War of Shadow, late in the First Age, and it continues on until today.

The Calendar is divided into 12 months, each of which is divided into 29 or 30 days for a total of 352 days. There is a leap day added every third year and another leap day added every fourth year.

The months are (in Pakwi): Iar, Leva, Danzil, Žem, Sfian, Oláno, Príenz, Yinto, Kúnar, Olkani, Rapap, and Úlburan.

Iar, Žem, Príenz, and Olkani each have 30 days while the others have 29 days.

The Leap Days are added to the end of Oláno.

The first day of Iar is the first day of Spring. The first day of Žem is the first day of summer. The first day of Príenz is the first day of autumn. The first day of Olkani is the first day of winter.
