The Children of the Dawn divide themselves into six orders. Each order operates semi-independently, and each has many secrets which they do not share with the other orders.

Order of the Cedar Tree[]

Main article: Order of the Cedar Tree

Also called the Advisers, the Order of the Cedar Tree focuses on governance. They often serve as advisers to leaders and settle disputes. They also make up the bulk of the administrators of the Island of Helvan. They are the third largest Order (17%). The head of the Advisers is called the Chief Counselor.

Order of the Crystal Power[]

Main article: Order of the Crystal Power

Also called the Makers, the Order of the Crystal Power focuses on the creation of Talismans. They are the smallest Order (10%). The head of the Makers is called the First Builder.

Order of the Generations[]

Also called the Travelers, the Order of the Generations focuses on the finding of Initiates. They also aid people as they search. They are the second largest Order (20%). The head of the Travelers is called the High Seeker.

Order of the Grand Library[]

Also called the Gatherers, the Order of the Grand Library focuses on the finding and preserving of knowledge. They also conduct research into every topic, most notably into Gifts. They are the largest Order (26%). The Gatherers are headed by a council called the Circle of Wisdom.

Order of the Mysteries[]

Also called the Thinkers, the Order of the Mysteries focuses on Thought and Morality. They are known as problem solvers. They are the fourth largest Order (14%). The head of the Thinkers is called the Prime.

Order of the Spear and Shield[]

Main article: Order of the Spear and Shield

Also called the Watchers, the Order of the Spear and Shield focuses on preparation for the Fourth War of Shadow. They focus on military affairs and act as the military arm of the Children. They are the fifth largest Order (13%). The head of the Watchers is called the First Sentinel.
